Security Officer Full-Time

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Security Officer to join our team at Jefferson Memorial Hospital. As a Security Officer, you will play a critical role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our patients, visitors, and staff.
Key Responsibilities- Patrol the hospital campus to prevent vandalism, fire, theft, and illegal or unlawful entry.
- Respond to emergency situations and provide assistance as needed.
- Enforce hospital policies and procedures related to security and safety.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless and secure experience for patients and visitors.
- High School Graduate or equivalent required.
- Courses in formal settings concerning the criminal justice system and administration are highly desirable.
- Three months of formal training for security procedures, building layout, and use of equipment issued to perform the job is preferred.
- Tennessee State Security license required.
- Valid Drivers License required.
- Six months of previous experience preferred.
- Military training may be substituted for the above.
