Job Summary

At St. Luke's Health System, we are seeking a highly skilled Certified Surgical Technologist to join our Labor and Delivery team. As a key member of our surgical team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and supporting our medical staff during surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist surgeons and medical staff during surgical procedures in the Labor and Delivery unit
  • Prepare and maintain a sterile environment for surgical procedures
  • Monitor and maintain equipment and supplies
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure smooth and efficient surgical procedures
  • Provide excellent patient care and support to patients and their families

Requirements

  • Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Licenses/Certifications:
  • American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Provider certification
  • Certified as a Surgical Technologist (CST) by National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) OR Tech in Surgery - Certified (CST-NCCT) by National Center Competency Testing (NCCT)
