Job Title: Certified Surgical Technologist

St. Luke's Health System is seeking a skilled Certified Surgical Technologist to join our team in Boise, Idaho.

Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Certified Surgical Technologist to provide exceptional patient care in our operating room. As a member of our surgical team, you will be responsible for preparing operating rooms, maintaining equipment, and assisting surgeons during procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare operating rooms and equipment for surgical procedures
  • Assist surgeons and other medical staff during procedures
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment in the operating room
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and technologies
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Licenses/Certifications:
    • American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Provider certification
    • Certified as a Surgical Technologist (CST) by National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) OR Tech in Surgery - Certified (CST-NCCT) by National Center Competency Testing (NCCT)
  • Experience: 1+ year of experience as a Certified Surgical Technologist
