Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and train food service staff to ensure excellent customer service and food quality.
  • Manage food preparation, presentation, and serving to meet customer expectations.
  • Monitor and maintain a clean and safe food service environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Develop and implement effective inventory management and ordering systems to minimize waste and optimize resources.
  • Collaborate with the management team to plan and execute special events, promotions, and menu launches.
  • Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure consistency and excellence in food preparation and presentation.
  • Manage cash handling and point-of-sale systems to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of food products.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and excellence in food service operations.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; culinary degree or certification preferred.
  • Minimum 36 months of experience in food service, including 12 months in a supervisory role.
  • Proven track record of excellent customer service, food quality, and inventory management.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with ability to motivate and train staff.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and push/pull up to 100 pounds.
Preferred Qualifications
  • ServSafe certification.
  • Experience with food service software and point-of-sale systems.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
Working Conditions
  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Must submit to a background check.
  • Must not have a felony conviction for abuse, theft, rape, sexual assault, or distribution of drugs.
  • Exposure to disagreeable conditions, including handling greasy materials, walking on slippery floors, and working in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
