Position Type: Full-Time - Travel Required - Candidates must reside at least 70 miles from the primary location.

Compensation Details: The pay structure includes Per Diem and Lodging allowances.

Shift Availability: Multiple Shifts Offered (Day, Evening, Night)

Key Responsibilities

  • Conducts ultrasound diagnostic procedures following established protocols.
  • Exhibits age-appropriate care and consideration for all patients.
  • Demonstrates proficiency in performing various ultrasound techniques, particularly focusing on abdominal, retroperitoneal, and vascular imaging.
  • Assists in minor ultrasound procedures, including cyst aspirations and biopsies.
  • Collects and communicates relevant information pertaining to examinations.
  • Informs and educates patients regarding their procedures, adapting to individual needs.
  • Supports the Ultrasound Department to enhance operational workflow.

Qualifications

  • Educational background that meets certification, licensing, or registration standards.
  • Eligibility for certification from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
  • Oregon Sonographer certification required upon hire, or
  • Oregon Sonographer Temporary certification upon hire.
  • Current National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire.
  • National Certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography must be obtained within 6 months (180 days) of employment.
  • New graduates must be board eligible and secure certification (ARDMS) within 6 months of hire.
  • New graduates must possess an OBMI temporary license and obtain a permanent license within 6 months of hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in diagnostic ultrasound.
  • At least 2 years of experience in OBGYN sonography.
