Job Summary:

Solvet is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Surgical Technologist - Scrub Tech to join our team. As a Surgical Technologist - Scrub Tech, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of surgical procedures, providing exceptional patient care, and maintaining a safe and sterile environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist surgeons and surgical teams in preparing patients for surgery, including positioning, prepping, and draping.
  • Set up and maintain a sterile field, including arranging instruments, supplies, and equipment.
  • Handle and maintain surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment, including cleaning and sterilizing.
  • Assist with patient positioning, transfer, and movement during surgery.
  • Monitor and maintain a safe and sterile environment, including adhering to infection control policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure efficient and effective surgical procedures.
  • Provide exceptional patient care, including emotional support and education.
  • Participate in quality improvement activities and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Two years of experience as a Surgical Technologist - Scrub Tech or related field preferred.
  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association required.
  • Ability to pass extensive professional and personal background investigation.
