Job Title: Principal / Sr. Principal Engineer Systems Test

Northrop Grumman is seeking a highly skilled Principal / Sr. Principal Engineer Systems Test to join our team in Roy, Utah. This role will support the Sentinel program and offer a competitive relocation assistance package.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and participate in test and integration events at multiple deployed locations, including government oversight and insight test events.
  • Author and peer review comprehensive and detailed test plans, procedures, and reports using various MBSE tools.
  • Oversee and track progress in an agile-based work environment.
  • Interface with cross-functional internal and external teams, stakeholders, government agencies, and customers to ensure system integration and success.
  • Review and evaluate test requirements to ensure completeness of the test program.
  • Perform technical analysis of the system and prepare comprehensive system-level evaluations.
  • Participate in test readiness reviews and interface directly with test planning teams to ensure all test objectives are being achieved.
  • Prepare system test reports, procedures, plans, and contract data requirement lists (CDRLs) for delivery to government customers.
Requirements:
  • US Citizenship with an Active Secret Clearance or higher (awarded within the past 6 years) with the ability to receive a Special Access Program (SAP) certification.
  • 5 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's Degree; 3 years with a Master's; 0 years with a PhD; 4 additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Experience performing test events in a continuous integration environment.
  • Working knowledge using MBSE tools such as CAMEO & DOORs.
  • Experience in creation of test plans, procedures, CONOPS, and other related artifacts critical to system testing.
  • Ability to work and interface with customer representatives in a government oversight environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • US Citizenship with an Active Top-Secret Clearance or higher (awarded within the past 6 years) with the ability to receive a Special Access Program (SAP) certification.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a STEM discipline from an ABET-accredited university.
  • Proficient in MBSE tools such as CAMEO & DOORs.
  • Experience with ICBM Weapon Systems, Missile/Rocket Systems, or DOD programs.
  • COMPTIA Security+ (plus) Certification.

This position's standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
