Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Meat Cutter to join our team at D&W Fresh Market. As a Meat Cutter, you will be responsible for preparing and producing meat products to meet customer demands.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and package meat products according to production plans
  • Merchandise meat products to meet visual standards
  • Stock backroom with meat products, rotating and dating cases and buckets
  • Notify the Meat Manager of product and supply needs
  • Work collaboratively with other departments to achieve sales growth
  • Communicate tasks, recipes, weights, and measures to other associates
  • Follow all PPE and safety guidelines
  • Follow all food safety and cleaning expectations
  • Follow guest experience guidelines
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • One year of retail or related experience preferred
  • Ability to read, write, comprehend, and interpret documents
  • Basic mathematical skills
  • Detail-oriented
