Childcare Assistant

We are seeking a qualified and caring individual to join our team as a Childcare Assistant at Firefly Childcare New Dorset Llc.

• Maintain a safe and healthy environment for children aged 3-8 years old.
• Supervise and engage children in various activities, including outdoor play, arts and crafts, and educational games.
• Assist with daily routines, such as homework help, snack time, and nap time.
• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities.
• Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for all.
• Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to stay up-to-date on best practices and policies.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience working with children in a childcare setting preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical ability to lift and move children and equipment as needed.
