About the Job

We are seeking a results-driven Retail Store Manager with exceptional problem-solving abilities to oversee daily operations, drive sales, manage staff, and ensure top-tier customer service at McKinnon Home Furnishings in Palatka, Florida. The ideal candidate excels at identifying challenges, creating effective solutions, and fostering a productive, customer-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, and ensure smooth coordination between departments.
  • Manage stock levels, including ordering, receiving, and tracking inventory, and address inventory discrepancies through root-cause analysis.
  • Lead the team to achieve sales targets and KPIs, resolve customer concerns professionally and promptly, and develop innovative sales strategies to boost revenue.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Retail Store Manager, preferably in the furniture or home goods sector, with 5-8 years of management experience.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities, and exceptional sales, customer service, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in inventory management and sales reporting software, and ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Estimated Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 per year
