Dry Grind Maintenance Supervisor Role

At Archer Daniels Midland Company, we're seeking a skilled Dry Grind Maintenance Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our dry grind operations.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and supervise the work of maintenance technicians, ensuring schedule compliance and plant reliability.
  • Communicate daily schedules to technicians, outlining expectations for their job tasks.
  • Conduct progress checks throughout the shift to guarantee jobs are completed safely and on time, identifying and addressing variance issues.
  • Coach and mentor technicians on work performance, taking corrective action as needed.
  • Review completed work orders and create follow-up work orders as necessary.
  • Collaborate with the operations team to communicate preventative maintenance findings and implement projects to improve equipment reliability.
  • Participate in weekly scheduling meetings to review required PMs and identify additional work items.
  • Ensure all jobs are safely released to the operations team.
  • Maintain proper housekeeping standards during and after job completion.

Preferred Skills:
  • Working knowledge of trades classifications and functions.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency in CMMS and Microsoft Suite software.
  • Ability to manage and lead effective meetings.
  • Coaching and mentoring skills.

Work Environment:
  • Primarily Monday-Friday, with flexibility to work outside standard hours.
  • Standing for long periods, lifting 50 lbs, carrying ladders and tools, climbing ladders/stairs, and walking long distances.
