Program Coordinator

Comunilife Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Program Coordinator to lead the Life is Precious program in Long Island, NY. The successful candidate will be responsible for directing the overall operations of the program, including management, planning, program development, implementation, monitoring, and budgeting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct the day-to-day operations of the Life is Precious program
  • Supervise program staff and maintain relevant documentation
  • Collaborate with the Sr. Vice President of Programs to ensure quality psychiatric and psychosocial assessments are conducted prior to referral to the Life Is Precious Program
  • Develop and implement programs that stimulate the interest and are relevant and age-appropriate for young adults
  • Ensure that a system of reporting is used in assessing the efficiency and effectiveness of the program staff
  • Ensure that all program participants are receiving mental health services
  • Ensure that staff receives all necessary support via workshops regarding the management of grief while maintaining professional focus
  • Triage referrals and patient assignments to staff; monitor quality of clinical service and maximize number of individuals served
  • Track outcome studies and monitor patient satisfaction surveys
  • Collaborate with various community agencies, public officials, and organizations
  • Supervise all recruitment efforts and ensure timely completion of all staff performance evaluations
  • Represent the program at community providers and plan, organize, and supervise all program and family-oriented activities
Requirements:

A Master's Degree in Social Work or Psychology is required, with three to five years of clinical supervisory and administrative experience. Clinical experience working with children, adolescents, and adults is essential. Bilingual in Spanish/English is a plus.

Salary: $65,000 - $70,000 per year
