Key Responsibilities
  • Dispensing Medications: Dispense medications prescribed by physicians and other healthcare professionals in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to patients, answering questions and addressing concerns about medications and their use.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, including those related to controlled substances and patient confidentiality.
  • Immunizations: Administer immunizations as allowed by state boards of pharmacy and in accordance with company policies.
  • Pharmacy Operations: Participate in the daily operations of the pharmacy, including receiving and processing prescriptions, managing inventory, and maintaining accurate records.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or PharmD.
  • Licensure: Current pharmacist's license in the state of Indiana.
  • Certification: Certified immunizer or willingness to become an immunizer within 3 months of hire.
