We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Staff Pharmacist to join our team at BridgePoint Continuing Care Hospital in Marrero, LA. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and effective delivery of medications to our patients.
Responsibilities- Filling orders with accuracy and attention to detail
- Maintaining the security of the pharmacy and controlled substances
- Entering orders and patient information with precision
- Aiding in the training of new staff members
- Providing updates to the Director on daily pharmacy activities
- Supporting the Director in maintaining the pharmacy
- Pharmacy degree (BS or PharmD) from an ACPE accredited school of pharmacy; PharmD preferred
- Current Pharmacist license in good standing in LA
- Experience as a Pharmacist in a hospital setting, with EPIC and Omnicell experience a plus
- Ability to work independently, set priorities, and make critical decisions
- Demonstrated accuracy and timeliness in a work setting
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
