Ceco Concrete Construction is seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. As a Carpenter, you will play a critical role in the construction process, working on various projects and collaborating with our experienced team members.
Key Responsibilities- Perform general construction labor, including jobsite clean-up and moving of materials by hand.
- Operate motorized equipment, such as power tools, saws, hammers, nails, and bolts.
- Work in a fast-paced environment, requiring good balance and physical strength.
- Assist in pouring vertical concrete and installing reshores as instructed.
- Quickly learn and assist in various tasks, including vertical installations and removal, framing and decking operations, and pouring vertical concrete.
- Read a tape measure and work accurately.
- Work in inclement weather, potentially exposed to extreme cold and heat, noise, and dust from construction operations.
- Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds of material and up to 90 pounds with assistance, if requested.
- Frequently walk, stoop, kneel, reach, and climb.
- Frequently use hand tools, such as power tools, circular saws, hammers, nails, and bolts.
- Preference given to candidates with a minimum of 12 months of formwork/concrete construction work experience as a Carpenter, meeting or exceeding performance expectations.
- 30 Hour OSHA Card desired.
