About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Data Transformation Director to lead our company-wide efforts in managing and protecting data. As a key member of our team, you will report to our VP of Business Transformation and focus on improving data quality and securing sensitive information across our digital supply chain.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of data governance principles, best practices, and industry standards, with experience managing data for streaming. You will establish a data governance framework to guide policies, standards, and best practices at every level of our business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and enforce policies, procedures, and standards for managing data, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.
  • Implement processes for data profiling, cleansing, and validation, setting data quality metrics and ensuring consistency across systems.
  • Oversee title registration and hierarchy within our data management system, track data lineage, and ensure digital assets are properly tagged.
  • Work with our IT and security teams to implement access controls and data protection measures, ensuring compliance with regulations and conducting regular security audits.
  • Streamline data flow between systems, standardize data formats, and work with our Enterprise Technology team to create API integrations and data exchange processes.
  • Ensure data is accurate, accessible, and usable, collaborating with business units to meet their data needs and developing programs to enhance data literacy across the organization.
  • Manage a team to address channel partner issues, urgent requests, schedule changes, and internal errors, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Define and lead the data governance strategy, working closely with key partners to drive business outcomes.

This role is critical to ensuring data quality, consistency, and security across our digital supply chain, supporting our business operations and promoting a data-driven culture within our organization.

About You

We are looking for a highly experienced professional with a strong background in data governance, data management, and leadership. The ideal candidate will have:

  • 12+ years of experience with data in the digital supply chain, with expertise in SQL and Python.
  • A deep knowledge of data governance principles, best practices, and industry standards, with experience managing data for streaming.
  • A strong understanding of digital supply chain processes in media and entertainment.
  • Experience with data management tools and technologies.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Created and implemented data governance frameworks and policies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, able to turn complex data into actionable insights.
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams and working with multiple partners.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or comparable experience. Certifications in data governance, data management, or data privacy would be beneficial.
