Viscuso's Pizza is seeking an Artisan Pizza Chef to join our dedicated kitchen team and enhance the culinary experience we offer to our patrons.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Morning duties include preparing dough, crafting pizzas, shredding cheese, and chopping vegetables.
  • Evening tasks involve restocking the make table, washing dishes, and ensuring the kitchen is clean and organized, while monitoring food inventory.
  • Prepare the kitchen for the following day’s operations.
  • Efficiently manage multiple food orders simultaneously while utilizing professional kitchen equipment.
  • Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and evenings.
  • Adhere to food safety protocols.
We are looking for a collaborative team member who can perform various kitchen tasks and follow directions to help us serve delightful dishes from our menu.

Qualifications:
  • Possession of a valid Food Handler Card.
  • High School Diploma or a diploma from a culinary institution.
  • Familiarity with professional kitchen equipment is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of food safety practices and hygiene standards.
  • Strong team spirit with a customer-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to maintain composure and focus in a high-pressure environment.
  • Excellent listening, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail is essential.
  • Willingness to work extra hours and take on additional responsibilities when necessary.
  • Training on CA Sexual Harassment Prevention will be provided.
  • The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented and organized individual.
