Automotive Service Supervisor

In this role, you will oversee operations related to the servicing and repair of vehicles, manage the procurement of automotive tools, and ensure our maintenance facilities are operating efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate daily individual meetings with each Assistant Service Manager to pinpoint potential service challenges.
  • Oversee automotive repairs and maintenance to avert operational setbacks.
  • Collaborate with the service director to establish departmental goals.
  • Recruit, interview, and onboard service personnel.
  • Maintain daily sales and production documentation as directed by upper management.
  • Analyze and assess service sales performance.
  • Allocate technical teams based on production needs.
  • Stay updated on new products and modifications to existing offerings.
  • Manage departmental finances within the limits set by upper management.
  • Ensure optimal repair-order flow to maximize productivity.
  • Supervise all warranty activities to guarantee adherence to policies and procedures.
  • Follow dealership guidelines regarding vehicle care and operations.
  • Oversee payroll for service staff in collaboration with the payroll department, obtaining approvals from the service director and general manager.
  • Enforce OSHA standards, procedures, and regulations.
  • Conduct performance reviews.
  • Engage in operational planning.
  • Maintain the facility and equipment.
  • Lead weekly department meetings and participate in manager meetings.
Qualifications

An Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical institution; or 2 to 4 years of relevant experience and/or training; or a suitable combination of education and experience.
