Job Summary:The Registered Nurse ICU will work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to patients with complex medical conditions. This includes assessing patients' physical and emotional needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and evaluating patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients, including administering medications, performing procedures, and monitoring vital signs.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
- Assess patients' physical and emotional needs, and provide education and support to patients and their families.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions between departments.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Michigan.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- At least 1 year of experience in an ICU setting.
