Aircraft Maintenance Specialist

As an Aircraft Maintenance Specialist at Sierra Nevada Corporation, you will be responsible for ensuring the airworthiness of aircraft by performing repairs, replacements, and maintenance of key components. You will work with a variety of tools and equipment to diagnose and repair issues, and ensure that all work is compliant with national and international standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on aircraft airframes and engines
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with aircraft systems and components
  • Conduct inspections and tests to ensure airworthiness
  • Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to resolve complex issues
  • Document all work and maintain accurate records
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent and at least 10 years of relevant experience
  • Active FAA Airframe and Powerplant certification
  • Ability to speak, read, and write in English
  • Advanced experience in repairing and maintaining aircraft airframes and engines
  • Ability to understand and interpret technical schematics and diagrams
