Job Title: Clinical Psychologist

At Executive Mental Health, we are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team in Walnut Creek. As a Clinical Psychologist, you will be an integral part of our multi-disciplinary team, working directly with a trained clinical manager and support team to enhance your skill set and experience working with complex populations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess, diagnose, and treat residents in skilled nursing facilities, including geriatric patients, patients with disabilities, and those with complex psychiatric histories.
  • Maintain an active caseload and work with the team to maintain a referral stream.
  • Develop relationships with facility staff and provide consultation as needed.
  • Complete clinical documentation in a timely manner.
  • Document based on medical necessity and in accordance with Medicare standards.
Requirements:
  • Doctoral degree (Ph.D., PsyD) in Clinical Psychology (required)
  • Current and valid California state license as a Psychologist (required)
  • Medicare Provider eligibility (required, our in-house billing team assists with this)
  • Ability to be placed on 3rd party insurer panels (required, we assist with this process)
  • Strong clinical background in evidence-based practices
  • Telehealth experience and/or willingness to learn and utilize modality
