- Conducts diverse inventory management tasks for General Stores, including restocking shelves, reorganizing inventory locations, and ensuring a clean and safe workspace. Precision is crucial.
- Possesses comprehensive knowledge of the SMART system relevant to job duties.
- Handles requisitions through electronic data entry and transports supplies and equipment to designated hospital departments.
- Oversees and maintains inventory management processes for assigned pre-stocked departments, including requisition oversight.
- Restocks items following proper rotation, organization, identification, documentation, and designated locations.
- Adjusts inventory levels in pre-stocked departments as necessary to sustain optimal stocking efficiency.
- Assists in the distribution of non-stock supplies throughout the facility.
- Monitors all stock and non-stock items to prevent obsolescence. Reviews non-stock items for all other areas served as time allows.
- Acts as a backup for colleagues in the storeroom and mailroom roles.
- Engages in receiving tasks and executes all receiving activities as required.
- Must cultivate positive relationships with team members and exhibit adaptability to evolving work demands.
- Prepares outgoing shipments for credit, exchange, or repair.
- Plans, organizes, and manages physical inventory at assigned stations and participates in facility-wide physical inventory.
- Ensures the security of General Stores and loading dock areas.
- Keeps all materials storage areas orderly and organized.

Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Basic accounting, reading, and math skills are essential.
Skills:
Requires critical thinking abilities, decisive judgment, and the capacity to work independently. Must thrive in a fast-paced environment and respond appropriately to challenges.
Ability to operate a personal computer and comprehend the Materials Management System relevant to assigned responsibilities. Ethical and professional conduct is expected.
Typical Physical Requirements:
Requires full range of motion, including manual dexterity of both hands. Must be able to bend using knees and squat as instructed in annual training.
Must be capable of pushing carts or pulling pallet jack loads and lifting packages weighing up to 50 pounds.
Vision and hearing must be corrected to normal range. Ability to distinguish colors is necessary. Requires standing, walking, and bending for extended periods on concrete surfaces. Must be able to work under stressful conditions and/or irregular hours.Work Experience:
Two years of experience in supply inventory within a warehouse setting is preferred.
