Flagship Facility Services is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Janitorial Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and organization of our office environments.
Responsibilities- Perform daily cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and dusting of floors, walls, and surfaces.
- Operate industrial vacuum cleaners and scrubbing machines to maintain a high level of cleanliness.
- Empty waste baskets and replace liners as needed.
- Clean and sanitize toilets, basins, and urinals in restrooms.
- Sweep and mop tile floors with disinfectant.
- Spot clean walls, partitions, and doors.
- Refill restroom dispensers as needed.
- Perform periodic tasks, such as cleaning overhead vents, dusting blinds, and polishing wood furniture.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- 6 months of experience in commercial facilities and building janitorial work desired.
- Ability to stand, walk, and sit for long periods of time.
- Ability to lift and move a minimum of 40 pounds of office and facilities equipment.
- Good listening and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to understand and anticipate the needs of clients.
Our office environments are fast-paced and dynamic, with a moderate noise level. You will be exposed to a combination of normal office type environments and shop environments. Regularly exposed to dust, odors, oil, fumes, cleaning products, and noise.
