Job Title: Simulation Patient Evaluator

About the Role:

The Commonwealth of Virginia's School of Medicine, Center for Human Simulation and Patient Safety is seeking a Simulation Patient Evaluator to join our team. As a Simulation Patient Evaluator, you will work closely with our Standardized Patients to evaluate their performance and provide feedback to students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate the performance of Standardized Patients in simulated clinical scenarios
• Provide constructive feedback to students on their clinical skills
• Collaborate with our team to develop and implement evaluation tools and processes
• Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge

Requirements:

• Must have experience as a Standardized Patient in our program, current or past member
• Excellent memory recall and ability to provide different forms of feedback
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Having worked as a Standardized Patient for at least six months
• Experience in a clinical or educational setting

Working Conditions:

• As needed, per business and client need (varies)
• Hourly rate: $25
