Job Title: Simulation Assistant

At the Center for Human Simulation and Patient Safety, we are seeking a highly skilled and flexible Simulation Assistant to support our medical simulation events. As a Simulation Assistant, you will play a critical role in ensuring the success of our events, working closely with our operations, technical, and educational staff to provide exceptional support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with event timing, student transitions, equipment setup and strike down
• Provide administrative support to our operations, technical, and educational staff
• Maintain a flexible schedule to accommodate event needs
• Collaborate with medical students, residents, fellows, and faculty members to provide a safe and effective learning environment

Requirements:

• Comfortable with having medical ultrasounds and physical examinations performed on your body
• Ability to wear a patient hospital gown for the duration of the event
• Extensive knowledge of Zoom and virtual meeting platforms
• Mature and professional attitude
• Medical terminology and/or experience a plus
• Zoom/virtual meeting experience a plus

Preferred Qualifications:

• Medical training and/or medical terminology knowledge
• General administrative and/or office assistant experience

Work Schedule:

Up to 29 hours/week, as needed
