Tru by Hilton is looking for a dedicated Maintenance Engineer to ensure the upkeep of our facilities, including grounds, building systems, and guest accommodations. This position plays a vital role in maintaining the high standards of our hotel operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the procurement and installation of minor repair items as directed by management.
  • Supervise a team of maintenance personnel across various departments.
  • Complete daily maintenance tasks as outlined in the Maintenance Checklist.
  • Respond to urgent maintenance issues promptly, available on a 24-hour call basis.
  • Adhere to safety protocols in compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration regulations.
  • Implement preventive maintenance schedules efficiently.
  • Maintain cleanliness of outdoor areas, including trash removal and sidewalk upkeep.
  • Perform painting duties on walls, ceilings, doors, and trim as necessary.
  • Utilize expertise in HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and other maintenance areas.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in general maintenance, engineering, or related fields.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other building systems.
  • Experience in the hospitality sector and hotel management is advantageous.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic work environment with varying schedules.
