Key Responsibilities:

  1. Follow established health and safety protocols to ensure the well-being of both team members and guests.
  2. Utilize Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as per property guidelines.
  3. Maintain a positive and friendly attitude while delivering exceptional service to hotel guests.
  4. Communicate effectively with guests and fellow staff members to enhance the guest experience.
  5. Thoroughly clean guest rooms in accordance with company standards, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing bathrooms.
  6. Complete room cleaning tasks within the timeframes set by management.
  7. Adhere to company policies regarding room amenities and supplies.
  8. Promptly report any lost items found in guest rooms to management.
  9. Ensure the security of master room keys and return them at the end of each shift.
  10. Report maintenance issues that require immediate attention.
  11. Assist with laundry duties as needed.
  12. Support fellow team members and departments to enhance overall hotel performance.
  13. Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Required Skills:

  • Strong interpersonal communication skills (both oral and written).
  • Ability to remain patient and composed in various situations.
  • Conflict resolution skills to address guest concerns effectively.
  • Detail-oriented approach to cleaning and service.
  • Dedication to providing high-quality service and support.

Education and Experience:

High School diploma or equivalent preferred.

Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous.

Physical Requirements:

This position involves frequent walking, climbing stairs, and performing various physical tasks, including lifting and carrying items up to 20 lbs. Exposure to cleaning agents is also part of the role.
