Dietitian - Patient Care Nutrition Specialist

This position is for a Dietitian who will be responsible for facilitating the nutrition care process to provide optimal medical nutrition therapy. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and screening patients for nutritional risk and malnutrition. This includes assessing nutritional status, developing and documenting care plans, and monitoring results and interventions according to the AND Nutrition Care Process using the EMR. The Dietitian will also be responsible for participating in interdisciplinary rounds with the care team and acting as the nutrition expert making evidence-based recommendations.

- Regular attendance to perform work on site during regularly scheduled business hours or scheduled shifts.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to operate computers and other office equipment.
Preferred Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree with a dietetic internship or equivalent. Registration with the ADA Commission on Dietitian Registration is also required. A current BLS or ability to obtain within three (3) months of hire is preferred.
Salary Information
The hourly range for this position is $25.58 - $39.49 per hour. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
