Job Summary

Sunnyhill Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. As a BCBA, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing behavior intervention plans to support individuals with autism and related developmental disabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct functional behavior assessments and skills assessments to identify areas of need and develop targeted interventions.
  • Develop and implement behavior intervention plans, including individualized behavior support plans and skill acquisition programs.
  • Provide training and consultation to parents, caregivers, and other team members on behavior change procedures and skill acquisition programming.
  • Collect and analyze data to inform treatment decisions and adjust plans as needed.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including parents, caregivers, educators, and other professionals, to ensure comprehensive support for individuals with autism and related developmental disabilities.
  • Ensure compliance with statewide policies and procedures, including presentation of behavior plans to behavior development committees and human rights committees as applicable.
  • Consult and coordinate services with other education and health care professionals as needed.
  • Attend client-centered meetings, including IEPs, ISPs, and FSTs, as appropriate.
  • Participate in continuing education and professional development to maintain certification and licensure.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or a related field.
  • National Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
  • Licensure as a Behavior Analyst in the state of Missouri.
  • Minimum 1 year experience providing services to individuals with autism and/or other developmental disabilities.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with implementing functional behavior assessments and conducting language, play, and skill-based assessments.
  • Strong clinical background in administering verbal behavior assessments and designing, implementing, and/or training others using individualized language, play, and skill-based curricula.
  • Supervisory experience in 1:1 education of learners with autism across educational and community settings.
  • Familiarity with designing, participating in, or supervising in-home 1:1 programs for young children with autism.
Physical Requirements
  • Able to stand, walk, and sit for four (4) hours at a time.
  • Repetitive bending and reaching up to two (2) hours a day.
  • Able to lift 25 pounds from floor to waist.
