- Execute all product protection standards, maintaining a secure and organized stockroom environment.
- Participate in training programs for new hires, sharing knowledge and expertise on Kohl's brand standards, product knowledge, inventory procedures, and productivity standards.
- Act with integrity, honesty, and foster a culture of teamwork and inclusivity.
- Exercise good judgment and discernment when making decisions, seeking guidance from supervisors as needed.
- Demonstrate a customer-centric mindset, anticipating customer needs and resolving issues in a timely and satisfactory manner.
- Support point-of-sale and customer service departments, ensuring speed of service transactions and creating a compelling customer experience.
- Meet or exceed individual goals, including productivity, credit, and loyalty metrics.
- Achieve multiple tasks within established timeframes, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines, maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
- Comply with health and safety standards, ensuring the well-being of all associates and customers.
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to multitask with strong attention to detail.
- Verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- No retail experience required, but a willingness to learn and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
- Must be 16 years of age or older.
- Flexible availability, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Client-facing retail or service industry experience.
- Ability to perform the accountabilities listed in the 'Key Responsibilities' section.
- Ability to satisfactorily complete company training programs.
- Ability to comply with dress code requirements.
- Basic math and reading skills, legible handwriting, and basic computer operation.
- Ability to operate and communicate on multiple frequency devices, handheld scanners, and other technology equipment as directed.
- Ability to maintain prompt and regular attendance and meet scheduling requirements as set by the company.
- Ability to withstand exposure to varying temperatures, humidity, and other elements while performing certain job duties.
- Perform work in accordance with the Physical Requirements section.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and occasionally over 50 lbs. with a two-person lift.
- Ability to climb, squat, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, twist, reach, lift, grasp, push, and pull on a frequent basis.
- Ability to stand/walk for the duration of a scheduled shift.
- Ability to visually verify information and locate and inspect merchandise.
- Ability to comply with health and safety standards.
