Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Laboratory Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at Procter & Gamble's Iowa City Beauty Plant. As a key member of our Quality Control team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of our products through laboratory testing and analysis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform laboratory testing and analysis of raw materials, intermediate products, and finished goods to ensure compliance with Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) and current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) regulations.
  • Collect, label, and analyze samples, and record results in accordance with standard analytical procedures.
  • Conduct routine instrument maintenance and calibration, and perform limited instrument troubleshooting and problem diagnosis.
  • Develop and implement analytical methods and procedures, and provide technical support to production teams.
  • Collaborate with production teams to ensure timely and accurate testing and analysis of products.
  • Identify and report any quality issues or deviations, and develop corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, or Microbiology, with a strong foundation in analytical chemistry.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a Quality Control laboratory or GMP manufacturing operations, with a proven track record of ensuring quality and compliance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
