Responsibilities:- Clean and maintain the premises of our office buildings, apartment houses, and other commercial or institutional buildings.
- Perform routine, unskilled, and semi-skilled housekeeping work, including sweeping, mopping, and polishing floors, cleaning lighting fixtures, and dusting furniture and equipment.
- Empty wastebaskets, clean ashtrays, and transport trash and recyclables to disposal areas.
- Replenish bathroom supplies and maintain assigned equipment in satisfactory and working condition.
- Read and understand correct dilution rates for cleaning chemicals and follow all facility safety policies and procedures.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum one year experience as a Janitor or any combination of education and training that demonstrates the knowledge and experience to perform the work.
- Ability to lift or carry objects weighing up to 60 pounds and push objects up to 100 pounds.
- Ability to verbally relate to others, understand and follow instructions, and work in a team environment.
- Exposure to dirt, dust, odors, chemicals, and/or infectious disease.
- May be required to work in aseptic areas and/or outdoors.
- Must be available to work flexible hours, including mornings, nights, and some weekends and holidays.
