Job Summary:

As an Advanced Practice Provider at Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our team. We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate individual to assist physicians in the care and teaching of patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with physicians to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, diagnose conditions, and develop treatment plans.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
  • Communicate effectively with healthcare teams to ensure seamless care delivery.

Requirements:
  • Graduate from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
  • Current license/registration to practice in the state of Florida.
  • Prescriptive privileges or eligible to apply.
  • NCCPA certification.
  • BLS certification.
  • Fluency in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Leadership skills to direct others toward objectives.
  • Analytical skills to evaluate patient status and health care procedures.
  • Fiscal skills to monitor and control costs and revenue.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment and discretion.
  • Valid Florida Driver License.
