Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist loan officers in processing FHA, VA, and Conventional loan applications, preparing submissions for automated approval and processing.
  • Manage a small pipeline for qualified candidates. Applicants MUST hold a valid license and be prepared to originate loans as necessary.

Essential Duties:

  • Collaborate closely with loan officers, builder sales teams, and home buyers to facilitate the purchase process.
  • Demonstrate exceptional verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with diverse clients.
  • Analyze and evaluate information in relation to underwriting standards and requirements.
  • Comfortably reach out to clients via phone or email to discuss loans, request documentation, and address basic inquiries.
  • Support the Loan Officer in maintaining customer satisfaction and achieving sales targets.
  • Interpret AUS findings and identify necessary documentation based on those results.
  • Prequalify potential borrowers as required.
  • Maintain an active NMLS Loan Originator License.
  • This is an ONSITE position with no options for hybrid or remote work.
  • Willingness to travel to Builder Communities as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Some college education preferred, with a minimum of two years of experience in a purchase-focused mortgage origination role.
  • Bilingual skills are a plus but not mandatory.
