We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Emergency Services Nurse to join our team at Providence Seaside Hospital. As a per diem nurse, you will work on a variable shift schedule, providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our emergency department.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, assessing and treating patients with a range of medical conditions.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Participate in emergency department operations, including triage, medication administration, and patient transport.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical practices and guidelines, applying evidence-based care to patient care.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Current Oregon Registered Nurse License.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification within 90 days of hire.
- At least one year of nursing experience, preferably in an emergency department setting.
