Job Summary

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) plays a vital role in providing resident-centered care and daily living assistance to assigned residents in our long-term care facility. As a member of our nursing team, you will be expected to deliver age-appropriate care related to the physical and psychological needs of our residents, as outlined in their care plans.

Responsibilities include assisting residents with daily living activities, such as bathing, toileting, grooming, and dressing/undressing. You will also be responsible for providing psychosocial support, transferring, repositioning, and walking residents using correct and appropriate transfer techniques and equipment. Additionally, you will assist with food preparation and dining, creating a positive experience for our residents.

Requirements
  • High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred
  • Minimum age of 16
  • Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred
  • Required Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing, or state certified CNA within four months of date into the position
