About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at the Good Samaritan Society. As a Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.

Responsibilities
  • Provide resident-centered care, including daily living assistance, bathing, toileting, grooming, and dressing/undressing.
  • Assist with basic health care needs, such as vital sign collection, and provide psychosocial support to assigned residents.
  • Participate in procedures, such as transferring, repositioning, and walking, using correct and appropriate transfer techniques and equipment.
  • Document resident interactions and outcomes related to resident care, behavior, activity, and dietary.
  • Communicate resident's changing condition and care-related concerns/responses to the charge nurse.
Requirements
  • High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred.
  • Minimum age of 16.
  • Required Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing.
  • Satisfactorily completes yearly department-specific competency testing and maintains a record of continuing education credits.
