Key Responsibilities

We are seeking a dedicated Advisory Services Consultant to enhance our practice in the Colorado region. This position involves supporting initiatives related to organizational alignment, strategic planning, change management, talent development, and leadership coaching. The Consultant will collaborate with various stakeholders, including national infrastructure organizations, municipalities, and state agencies, to develop and implement effective program strategies.

In this role, you will be expected to:

  • Deliver HDR's consulting services to clients, conduct data analyses, document findings, and provide recommendations for operational and business management improvements.
  • Utilize analytical skills to gain insights into various business aspects, focusing on the organization as a cohesive unit.
  • Act as Project Manager for complex projects, driving business development efforts in partnership with senior management and practice leaders.
  • Conduct comprehensive qualitative and quantitative analyses related to operational changes and their implications.
  • Prepare detailed reports and visual presentations of findings, ensuring quality assurance and quality control.
  • Lead client meetings, manage relationships with minimal oversight, and mentor junior staff members.
  • Contribute to statistical analysis of project data, including forecasting and benchmarking.
  • Engage with industry associations to advance the strategic consulting practice.
  • Collaborate with other business leaders to identify cross-sector opportunities.
  • Identify and pursue business development initiatives to secure new projects.
  • Ensure client satisfaction while adhering to project budget constraints.
  • Design and implement training programs as necessary.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications

Essential Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • A minimum of 9 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficient in utilizing the internet and various media for research purposes.
  • Ability to lead targeted marketing initiatives.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with a focus on relationship building, organization, and follow-up.
  • Self-motivated with a proven record of achievements.
