Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Outpatient Endoscopy

Mass General Brigham is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate RN to provide high-quality patient care in our outpatient endoscopy department. As a member of our team, you will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional care to our patients.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation)
  • Oversee other assigned team members and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide population-specific care
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and develop effective care plans
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes
Requirements:
  • Current MA RN license required
  • Minimum of 1-2 years nursing experience
  • Strong interpersonal communication, problem-solving, and conflict management skills
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required
  • Bachelor degree in nursing, preferred
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 2 years Critical Care/GI experience required, unless otherwise noted in job posting
  • Staff Endoscopy Nurse experienced preferred
  • Certification or advanced training in specialty area preferred
Work Environment:

The RN works in a variety of patient care environments where there may be exposure to communicable diseases and hazardous materials. Caring for patients also involves exposure to human waste and other unpleasant elements.
