Job Summary:

The Pool Attendant is a vital support role within the Recreation Department at HYATT Hotels. This position is responsible for maintaining a safe and clean pool and beach environment, ensuring a positive experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional customer service to pool guests, responding to their needs and concerns
• Maintain a clean and safe pool area, adhering to high standards of hygiene and safety
• Assist with recreation rental equipment and provide hotel information to guests
• Work effectively in high temperatures outdoors, maintaining focus while supervising pool guests for safety
• Perform general cleaning of the pool area and other duties assigned by management

Qualifications:

• CPR/Life Guard Certificate
• Superior swimming skills to provide rescue in pools
• Friendly attitude and willingness to exceed guest expectations
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying hot/cold weather climates
• Available to work flexible schedules, including afternoons, weekends, and holidays
• Good physical stamina to stand and walk long distances throughout shift
• Good physical strength to lift, push, and pull moderate weight
