Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mobile Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Lincoln Property Company. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for performing technical and mechanical functions to ensure the efficient operation of our properties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Comply with all relevant regulations, including EPA, OSHA, and ASHRAE guidelines, to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building management systems, as well as conduct monthly inspections and complete them on time.
  • Conduct site inspections, including roof, mechanical, and electrical rooms, to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Troubleshoot and repair facility systems, including HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, and minor electrical work, to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • Communicate effectively with facility managers, tenants, vendors, employees, and visitors to provide excellent customer service and resolve issues promptly.
  • Provide recommendations and guidance on equipment upgrades and facility improvements to enhance the overall quality of our properties.
  • Travel locally between assigned properties to perform maintenance tasks and ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Maintain a professional appearance at all times, adhering to company standards for uniforms and personal grooming.
  • Manage and maintain an inventory of tools, equipment, and vehicles issued to you.
  • Interact with clients and tenants in a professional manner, providing exceptional service and support.
  • Notify the Regional Operations Manager immediately of any problems or issues that arise.
  • Assist in coordinating the completion of construction projects and natural disaster recovery efforts.
  • Must be able to read and write English to understand manuals, procedures, and written instructions.
  • Must be comfortable using mobile devices or laptops to access work order systems, building systems, and email.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • Training and certification in HVAC or Operating Engineer technologies, or equivalent technical training and experience.
  • 2 years of field experience or equivalent technical training.
  • CFC training and certification, or ability to obtain certification for the type of refrigerant serviced, preferred.
  • Continuing education in the field to stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work independently with routine supervision.
  • Basic computer skills necessary to operate Building Automation Systems.
  • Familiarity with OSHA, NEC, and NFC codes and regulations.
Essential Functions
  • Ability to lift at least 50 pounds.
  • Work from heights.
  • Verify colors.
  • Ability to climb 28-foot ladders routinely.

This role is not a hybrid or remote role and requires regular presence at assigned portfolio properties throughout the week.
