Job Title: Asset Management SME

We are seeking a highly skilled Asset Management Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join our team at Evanhoe and Associates.

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in asset management processes, systems, and strategies, and will play a critical role in optimizing asset lifecycle management across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement asset management solutions for Veterans Affairs facilities.
  • Provide expert guidance on asset lifecycle management, including procurement, utilization, and disposition.
  • Ensure that all asset management strategies align with organizational goals and federal regulations.
  • Lead the development of asset tracking, reporting, and auditing processes to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to assess current asset management processes and recommend improvements.
  • Train and mentor teams on best practices for asset management and ensure consistent application of policies.
  • Oversee the integration of asset management tools and software solutions to enhance data management and decision-making.
  • Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure asset management practices are effective and optimized.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 14 years of experience in asset management or a related field.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, management, or a related field preferred. Additional 4 years of experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.
  • Proven expertise in asset management best practices, tools, and systems.
  • Strong understanding of federal regulations related to asset management.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects.
  • Prefer prior VA experience.
  • Possess and maintain an active Public Trust with the United States Department of Veteran Affairs.
