Position Overview:
Under the guidance of the Director of Nursing and the Clinical Director, this role is focused on the development, implementation, and assessment of educational programs for health professionals, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and compliance with national accreditation standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and facilitate educational initiatives for clinical staff, including curriculum development and instructional activities.
- Evaluate and enhance educational programs to ensure effectiveness and adherence to best practices.
- Support clinical personnel in achieving core competencies through structured assessments and evaluations.
- Manage the ongoing operations of health professional education programs, ensuring all activities are coordinated efficiently.
Qualifications:
- Current CA LVN License with certifications in IV therapy and blood withdrawal.
- BLS certification from recognized organizations.
- Proficient in conducting physical examinations and familiar with necessary instruments and supplies.
- Ability to monitor vital signs, administer medications, and manage drug refills.
- Competence in identifying abnormal lab results and communicating findings to physicians.
- Strong understanding of common medical conditions and their implications.
Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster a collaborative environment.
- Proficient in CPR and knowledgeable in the use of electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Competent in using PC software applications, including Microsoft Office Suite.
- Demonstrated punctuality and reliability in attendance and work quality.
- Ability to follow directives from leadership and respond promptly to organizational needs.
