We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Dietitian to join our team at QuadMed. As a key member of our Health and Wellness Center, you will play a vital role in enhancing the health and wellness of our employees and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments and obtain detailed nutrition history from patients.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and medical staff to determine patients' nutritional needs and diet restrictions.
- Develop and implement personalized nutrition plans based on medical and physical condition of patients.
- Provide individual and group nutrition counseling and education to enhance patients' health and wellness.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patients' nutrition care plans and progress.
- Stay current with industry-researched best practices and continuing education requirements.
- Graduate of an ACEND-accredited dietetic program (B.S., B.A., or M.A. in Nutritional Sciences, Community Nutrition, Dietetics, or Public Health Nutrition).
- Minimum five (2) years of experience in a clinical setting or completion of an internship through a coordinated program in dietetics in lieu of experience.
- Current RD/RDN license, in good standing with the state licensing board.
- Current CPR (BLS) certification or must be obtained within 60 days of hire.
- Electronic Medical Record experience.
- Knowledge and ability to use computers with Windows-based business software applications (i.e., Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.).
- Bilingual (English & Spanish) a plus.
