Internship Program

Children's Hope Alliance is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as an intern. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a clinical setting and develop skills in child and family therapy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist established counselors in implementing family, individual, and group therapies.
• Coordinate and participate in treatment team and consultation meetings, including individual supervision.
• Administer skill building sessions with clients and families.
• Present cases during Clinical Team Meetings with highly trained staff and senior clinicians.
• Prepare progress summaries, discharge summaries, effectiveness of care surveys, and other assigned reports in a timely, clear, and concise manner according to agency policy and procedure.
• Maintain all required medical record documentation, securing current consents and permissions in advance of the expiration of existing documents.
• Exposure to and participation in a data-driven culture where objective, empirically validated tools are used to better the care of clients, improve program service delivery models, and enhance clinician's skills.
• Attend to medical records in a timely and compliant fashion, to include service and progress notes.
• Comply with all policies, practices, and procedures, and report all out-of-compliance or unsafe activities to site supervisor.
• Attend and successfully complete all required trainings.
