Position Summary
The Sales and Service Specialist (SSS) role is a distinctive hybrid position within our stores, designed to serve as a vital pathway for future career advancement within Firestone Complete Auto Care.

This position primarily focuses on delivering exceptional customer service by evaluating needs, suggesting suitable products and/or services, executing entry-level vehicle maintenance tasks, and ensuring customer satisfaction through efficient and timely service completion.

Key Responsibilities
- Customer engagement, sales, and resolution of customer inquiries - 75%
- Basic vehicle maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire services, and fluid checks - 25%
- Store operations, including opening/closing procedures, inventory management, and merchandising - as needed
- May support the Manager or act as Manager-On-Duty under certain circumstances to facilitate development
- Will gain comprehensive knowledge of store operations and alternate between front-end and back-end tasks.
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Customer service orientation and a commitment to career growth
- Ability to complete required training courses and modules for this role
- Willingness to learn and perform basic vehicle maintenance tasks
- Capability to learn and utilize store systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate degree or equivalent non-traditional education through training program completion, certification, or other evidence of a growth mindset
- Previous experience in consumer retail sales
- Prior automotive experience is advantageous
- Experience in management or supervisory roles is a plus.
