Position Overview

We are currently seeking a dedicated Class A CDL Flatbed Truck Operator to join our team at Ryder System. This role offers the opportunity to work locally with a focus on home daily routes.

Compensation:
Average weekly earnings range from $1225 to $1300.

Daily Pay:
$106.09 per day.

Pay Structure:
- Solo Miles Pay: $0.42 per mile (approximately 425 miles per week)
- Solo Stops Pay: $8.56 per stop (approximately 65 stops per week)

Experience with flatbed operations is preferred, specifically in load securement.

Weekly Pay Schedule:
Drivers receive their pay on a weekly basis.

Bonuses:
- Alro Tenure Bonus: $1200, distributed as $300 quarterly.
- Loyalty Bonus: $3000, with $1500 awarded at 6 months and another $1500 at 1 year.

Work Schedule:
Monday to Friday, with no weekend shifts.
Start time is at 6:00 AM.

Job Responsibilities:
- Delivering freight within the Metro Detroit area.
- Local home daily routes.
- Operating a Day Cab tractor with 48' & 53' flatbed trailers.

Requirements:
- Minimum age of 21 years.
- Successful completion of a drug test and background check.
- Valid Class A CDL with necessary endorsements.
- Verifiable experience in a tractor-trailer or similar vehicle:
- 9 months within the last 3 years,
- OR 2 years within the last 5 years,
- OR 5 years within the last 10 years.
