Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit.
  • Develop and implement individualized patient care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, and develop plans to address these needs.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and monitor patients' responses to these interventions.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and to address any concerns or issues that may arise.

Requirements:
  • Current Iowa license as a Registered Nurse (or multistate for NLC eligible states and positions).
  • At least 2 years of recent experience as a Registered Nurse in an Intensive Care Unit setting.
  • Current BLS (AHA or ARC) certification.
  • ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc. certifications as needed per specialty.
