Senior Construction Project Coordinator

The Project Manager plans and supervises a wide range of construction projects from start to finish.

In this role, you will organize and oversee construction procedures and ensure they are completed in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with engineers, architects etc. to determine the specifications of the project
  • Determine needed resources (manpower, equipment and materials) from start to finish with attention to budgetary limitations
  • Work with project coordinator to ensure buyout equipment arrives to job site in a timely manner
  • Perform pull-planning activities with General Contractor, discuss and review jobsite readiness with General Contractor
  • Hire contractors and other staff and allocate responsibilities when needed
  • Communicate and work closely with Kamran superintendents for daily updates
  • Evaluate and review project progress by reviewing submittal logs, cost sheets, RFI logs, change order logs, etc
  • Review and release custom fabricated equipment
  • Review and approve purchase orders
  • Negotiate and finalize change orders
  • Deal with project-specific legal issues, escalating to company executives when needed

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a construction project manager
  • In-depth understanding of construction procedures and material and project management principles
  • Ability to prioritize tasks based on level of importance
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Solid organizational skills, including attention to detail and multitasking skills
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team
  • Critical thinking and problem solving

PAY RATE ESTIMATE:

$120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
