We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Select Specialty Hospital in Fort Smith, AR. As a critical illness recovery professional, you will play a vital role in providing compassionate care and clinical treatment to patients who require extended hospital care.

**Responsibilities**

* Receive admissions and transfers to the unit, ensuring a smooth transition for patients and families
* Conduct initial and ongoing systematic patient assessments, using your expertise to identify areas for improvement
* Document patient information accurately and efficiently, using our electronic systems
* Interpret diagnostic data, including lab results and telemetry, to inform treatment decisions
* Ensure medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately, prioritizing patient safety
* Participate in quality improvement initiatives, promoting a culture of excellence
* Educate and counsel patients and families, empowering them to take an active role in their care

**Requirements**

* Valid State RN License
* BLS certification at hire
* ACLS certification within 6 months of hire

* Competitive hourly rate: $32.00-$44.00 per hour
* 12-hour shifts, with opportunities for night and weekend differentials
